Lough Gur Cufflinks

A pair of impressive sterling silver cufflinks inspired by a bronze shield from the Late Bronze Age (c.700 BC). The original shield was found in a bog between Ballinamoona and Herbertstown, near Lough Gur, Co. Limerick, Ireland.

Made the same way as the original shield, these cufflinks are hand forged from flat silver sheet with the raised bosses beaten out from behind. The concentric circles are hand engraved into the front. They are made with top quality sterling silver swivel fastenings for ease of use.
