Learn to make your own jewellery

Learn to work with precious metals and discover your creative side. I teach a variety of jewellery skills workshops designed for adults or kids, for beginners or more experienced students.

Teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do; watching the joy in the eyes of a student (who may have come into the workshop convinced they would never be able to make anything properly) when they are holding a beautiful, polished piece of jewellery that they created. I love seeing the variety of ideas and designs that a group of students develop for a project, when they are each given the same materials and tuition as a starting point..

Students on my workshops learn how to create their own designs from precious metals. We use hand tools and traditional techniques. You will get to try your hand at filing, hammering, sawing and using the blow torch to heat and solder too!

Individual or Couples workshops are available at my studio in Co. Limerick. These are full day workshops where you will get individual, focused tuition from me and where we can cover the particular jewellery skills you want to master, or create the particular pieces of jewellery that you would like to take home. A delicious homemade lunch is included and you can even meet my cat!

I also occasionally run group workshops for a maximum of 4 participants at my studio. When I have a group workshop scheduled, they will be listed at the bottom of this page. Group workshops are a great way to learn jewellery skills and spend a fun day with like-minded people.
