Twirled Leaf Earrings

These beautiful Twirled Leaf drop earrings are hand forged from sterling silver. They are hung on sterling silver earring hooks. Every rippling mark on the Leaf's surface is made by a strike of my hammer as I forge it  from a piece of flat silver sheet into a  curving, helical 3D shape.

The simple but eye-catching design evokes the beauty and delicacy of a curled, autumnal leaf. As these earrings are forge hardened, I have been able to make them quite lightweight. This means that they move gently with the wind (or your own movements) and this gives them the life and appearance of a leaf on a tree branch.
